As packed as 2020 was bizarre news, 2021 might be giving it a run for its money…

This cute (possibly killer) critter was found in Toronto native Andrea Diamond’s backyard. Unfazed, she reported that when she found the squirrel, he was just “gnawing on it happily”. Did the squirrel think it was a new type of nut, or was he…sharpening his teeth?

Regardless of it’s intentions, my advice: if you cross paths with a weapon-wielding rodent, just stay away. I can’t help but be reminded of one Monty Python scene warning of the trappings of woodland creatures…
